Novodente Is Incorporated

10 March 2012, Wellington, New Zealand.

Today marks an exciting day for the dental industry in Wellington with the introduction of a new dental laboratory to the market. Operated by Tim Broadbent (BDentTech), Novodente aims to fill the gap in the Wellington dental market for a high service dental laboratory.

To really offer a high level of service, Novodente will draw on the deep knowledge of its staff. Tim has just returned from spending several years in Europe seeking new skills and technology.

Most recently, Tim has spent time in the Netherlands. There, he was participating in a project to develop new techniques and technologies for a company using computer numeric control type equipment producing high aesthetic work. This project took a step back from some of the stale systems in dentistry and re-approached the situations that we face when constructing crown, bridge and implant restorations from an engineering perspective. The concepts, machinery and software that Tim has an in depth knowledge of makes Novodente the ideal partner for both clinicians that are looking to break free from the restraints of closed branded systems and also the clinician that is looking for a solid partner to support them in the continually developing world of dentistry where choosing the right systems is becoming more and more important.

Novodente also begins with the experience gained from being part of a boutique dental laboratory in Amsterdam that had a strong clinical influence. In this studio dental technicians would spend a great deal of time with the patients. This gave ceramists the opportunity to construct restorations with direct reference to the patient, taking into account their expectations, desires and ultimately offering them the best possible outcome.

Tim has also spent time working with prestigious dental laboratories in London's West End. Here he perfected his skills in both implant and full ceramic style systems under the supervision of world-class master ceramists and demanding dental specialists.

With these talents Novodente offers clinicians and patients alike a new choice for their restorations, offering solutions that will really put a smile on your face.

Watch this space as Novodente roles out new technologies and ideas in dentistry that New Zealand has not before seen.
